Sonologue recently conducted a 7-day intensive radio content workshop at the Sarojini Naidu School of Communication at the University of Hyderabad. Over the course of the full week, master’s degree students were taken through creating reports, features, PSA’s, radio dramas, personal essays, and reviews. At the end of the workshop, all students had produced, in groups and individually, at least radio-ready pieces of each type.

Sonologue just conducted a three-day workshop with kids at Shishuvan school from 7th, 8th, and 9th grade on how to make radio stories and also edit them in open source software, Audacity.
The kids picked up the technology aspects astonishingly quickly. Before we could even assemble the recorders, the kids were off and doing field reports. The same happened with Audacity. I’ve had adults struggle to apply simple things like copy and paste but these kids were ready to play with gain and sound envelopes.

workshop for Community Radio Forum

Sonologue recently conducted a session for the Community Radio Forum at St. Pius College, in Mumbai on content and how to generate it. The session also taught how to conduct interviews, slant stories, craft the audio and how to think in audio.
