15 October 2008 No Comment

New+Returned IndiansIn this episode of NRI’s=New+Returned Indians, we’re talking to Sarah Hine, who moved to India from Connecticut last year and has just started her own business in Hyderabad. Sarah’s originally came as a fellow of the American India Foundation and stayed on. We met in a friend’s flat in Mumbai and over 25 minutes, talked about what keeps her here, being able to make a difference, being a single, white female in small town India, and her advice for fellow “foreigners” who move to India. Her spirit of adventure and openness to new experiences really came through in the interview so take a listen.
