August 28 weekend, I’ll going to Pune to conduct a workshop on community radio programming with The Communication Hub. We’re teaching basic radio programming skills to 10 people from the Maharashtra Network of Positive People (MNP+). I’m taking workshops on creating a radio show, with a focus on interviewing and recording in the field as well as some basic introductions to sound editing. I’m reminded of the story I filed in February for Radio Netherlands from Kolkata, after meeting members from the BNP+ who are in a musical band.
